Fall Ball is non-competitive.
The purpose of Fall Ball is to allow the players to continue to play baseball, develop skills, make new friends, build community, and have fun.

Players may be allowed to "play up" or "play down" on an individual basis.
If you would like your child to play in a division that is not available on the registration due to their age, please email:

League Age is the age of player on August 31, 2025.

Tee Ball (League Age 4-6):
Tee Ball is for young players new to baseball. The experience is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also being a key to growing a young child's love of the game.  Tee Ball is played on a small field with 50' bases and uses training or safety baseballs.  Tee Ball teams practice one evening per week and have one game each Sunday during the season.

Rookies - Coach Pitch (League Age 5-7):
Rookies is for 5 and 6-year-olds with at least one year of Tee Ball experience and 7-year-olds new to baseball.  Rookies is designed to be a step between Tee Ball and CAPS (machine pitch) for players who have developed skills in Tee Ball but are not quite emotionally or physically ready for the intensity of a semi-competitive division like CAPS.  Rookies is a "coach pitch" division where the coach will pitch five pitches to a batter, but if the batter is unable to hit a pitch, then a tee will be brought out so the player can hit from the tee.  Rookies is played on 60' bases and uses training or safety baseballs.  Rookies teams practice once per week and have one game each Sunday during the season.

CAPS - Machine Pitch (League Age 7-9):
CAPS is for 7-9-year-olds.  7-year-olds MUST have at least on season of experience in Rookies or Tee Ball to play in CAPS and should be mature and highly skilled for their age.  Nearly all 8-year-olds play in CAPS as well as 9-year-olds who are new to baseball.  CAPS is a "machine pitch" division with the pitching machine set at 45' from the plate at a speed of 40mph.  Players receive five pitches and will strike out if they are unable to hit one of those pitches into fair territory.   CAPS is played on 60' bases and uses regular little league baseballs.  CAPS teams practice once per week and have one game each Sunday.

Minors - Player Pitch (League Age 9-11):
Minors is for 9-11-year-olds. 9-year-olds MUST have at least one season of experience in CAPS/NL to play in Minors. Minors is also the division for 11-year-olds who are not quite ready for Intermediates.  Minors is played on a field with the pitching rubber at 46' from home plate and bases at 60'.  There is base stealing, but no leading off.  Minors teams practice once per week and have one game each Sunday.

Intermediate - 50/70 (League Age 11-13):
Intermediate is for 11-13-year-olds.  11-year-olds MUST have at least two seasons of experience in Minors/AL to play in Intermediates.  Intermediates is played on a 50/70 field, meaning that the pitching rubber is 50' from home plate and bases are at 70'.  There is base stealing and leading off.  Intermediate teams practice once per week and have one game each Sunday.

Juniors - 60/90 (League Age 13-15):
Juniors is a for 13-15-year-olds.  Juniors is played on a full-size baseball field and follows standard baseball rules.  Because Peninsula does not have enough Junior players for a full division, Juniors teams will player "interleague" games with other leagues within District 32.  Home games will be played at Cleator Field and away games will be played at another location in the district.

Challengers:
Challenger is Little League’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges.  Any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge may participate. If an individual can participate in the traditional Little League Baseball or Softball program with reasonable accommodations they should do so. The Little League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 4 to 18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in school.  There are no assessments for the Challengers division.
